MARKA HAKKINDA

Seiko

O gün Tokyo'da tanıtılan Astron, dünyanın ilk kuvars kol saatiydi. İsviçre saat endüstrisinin sonraki on yılda yaşayacağı çöküşün adı da o gün kondu.

Yirmi bir yaşındaki Kintaro Hattori 1881'de Tokyo'nun merkezinde küçük bir dükkân açtı; saat satıyor, saat tamir ediyordu. On bir yıl sonra kendi fabrikasını kurduğunda ona bir isim seçti: Seikosha. Kelime "hassas ve zarif üretim evi" anlamına geliyordu ve bir marka adından çok bir söz gibiydi.
